Howard County Walk4Water Registration Instructions
Below are the instructions to register for the Walk4Water and create your own personal fundraising page.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: It is VERY important that each participant register, and create their own individual fundraising page, even if all the donations you will receive will be given off-line. This way we can track your fundraising efforts and award incentives. It also allows you to automatically send a thank you email for each donation received, that can be used as a receipt for tax purposes.
TEAMS: Teams are also very important. If your school or organization is participating in the Walk4Water, we want to be able to recognize your efforts, and in the case of Howard County high school teams, reward the top earning school. If you are participating in the walk and you are not attending (or supporting) a Howard County high school, you can create a team for your group or organization!
Please PRINT these instructions and then click on this link: www.hcW4W.org and look at the Walk4Water Event fundraising page.
1. Click the "Raise Money" button.
2. Click "continue" to register yourself.
3. Put "1" in the quantity box to register yourself as a walker, and then read and check the box below the Authorization & Release, then click "continue".
4. Enter your email address, and click "continue".
5. Complete the info on yourself, and click "continue".
6. Complete the info on yourself (again), and click "continue".
7. Click "Show all teams".
8.Select your team, (if listed) and click "Join team" if your team is not listed, Click “create a team”.
9. Click "confirm".
10. Click "create your page".
11. Click "create your page (again)".
12. Click "edit your page" to set your personal fundraising goal, insert a picture or text, YouTube link, etc, (You can do this later, and can always get back in and edit your page as you wish).
13. Save your page and send the link to everyone that you want to tell about the fundraiser.
14. Now you are done and ready to start fundraising!
