The Columbia Amateur Radio Association (CARA) is a  nonprofit organization in support of amateur radio in Howard County.  Our guest speaker will be Andy Protigal, a CARA board member since 2015.

Voices For Children provides trained volunteers who are court advocates for abused and neglected children in Howard County. Executive Director Erica Byrne will be our guest speaker. 

Club members meet for snacks, drinks and conversation about a "book of the month." This month's book is James by Percival Everett. 

Club member Wanda Medina talks about the FDA's banning of red dye No. 3 in food, beverages, oral drugs, and dietary supplements on January 16, 2025.

President David Weeks will tell us about this nonprofit philanthropic organization that seeks to provide resorces promoting good health, education, and economic growth that will empower people in need.

Led by Mark Stoner, club members meet monthly to discuss various business/commerical issues. This session's topic is "Goals" both business and personal. 

Our volunteer chefs will prepare a dinner that will be served at the Grassroots shelter on the following evening. 

Mike DiGiacomo, Better Business Bureau President and CEO, explains how the BBB provides an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other.

Guest speaker Demitian Gilbert tells us more about The Collective's innovative seasonal cuisine highlighting coastal flavors from Maine through the Carolinas.

Karen and Dave Mosel are hosting our annual holiday celebration with good food and fun for all! 

A special breakfast meeting in celebration of the upcoming holiday, featuring festive libations, an omlet station and our famous White Elephant gift exchange!

Our club is sponsoring the Respite Retreats Holiday Celebration for families affected by cancer. It features gingerbread cookie decorating, a holiday sing-along and dancing, and a special surprise visit from Santa and his Elves.

Neighbor Ride offers affordable, volunteer-driven transportation for Howard County seniors, ages 60 and over. Our guest speaker is Executive Director Bruce Felton.

Diane Daniels has an update on Gilchrist, Maryland’s leading nonprofit provider of serious illness and end-of-life care.

Roy and Susan Appletree will explain how this all-volunteer effort provides school supplies to thousands of students in the Howard County Public School System each year.

Led by Mark Stoner, club members meet monthly to discuss various business/commerical issues. For this session, HR consultant Kelly Mitchell has an update on new HR laws and will discuss employee related concerns.  

We'll stock shelves at the Howard County Food Bank to help relieve food insecurity for local residents.
